This chilled water is then pumped through the thin cooling pad that is placed on your mattress that acts as a heat sink, drawing excess heat trapped between your mattress and your blanket away from your body. Most will find water temps in the low 70’s to be perfect against your body temp of ~99. The energy savings are huge because lowering your thermostat forces your AC to chill hundreds of tons of wood, sheetrock, concrete and furniture…but does nothing to directly combat the issue, body heat trapped between your mattress and blankets.
