ADAPTIVE CHIMNEY WIND DEFLECTOR: An effective solution to chimney downdraft in windy climates. Air movement past the hood creates a partial vacuum in the flue, enhancing draft efficiency to prevent downdrafts. Increases the efficiency of a stove or fireplace.

FUNCTIONAL WIND RESISTANCE: Cap separates the wind stream as it flows over the cap, while the rotating hood is kept in secure proper position (relative to wind) by the wind vane. Used for chimney exhaust or building ventilation.

SELECTION: Our chimney wind cap for home works for single wall pipe sizes from 5 inch to 10 inch. Diameter references OUTSIDE DIAMETER of pipe. Width of actual chimney cap ranges from 11 inches to 18 inches. Heights range from 14.5 inches to 20 inches.
